Suspect Child Abuse? Lititz Police Urge Public To Report It

 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, so the Lititz Borough Police are reminding the public to report any suspected child abuse.

"We all need to do our part to make sure that children are safe and cared for." said police in a statement on Thursday.

The police cite the continued pandemic as a risk-factor for increases child abuse and neglect.

"Be watchful and aware of the children in your community. If you have concerns that a child is not safe or being cared for, take action - it could save a child's life," said police.

The police urge the public to report abuse by calling the  24 hour hotline, Childline: 1-800-932-0313
